I have Garmin c330 for that price its a great GPS, I paid mine $ 170.. So far no problems with it..

lucky you they have come down in price….check out tomtom.com pick one that suits your needs. i like th 910 it has maps of north america and europe

With so many Golf Gps Systems on the market these days it’s very difficult to choose which one to buy (or rent). You have to consider price , screen display ( which could be black and white or colour) , unit size, computer connectivity, whether on not the map data base is incuded in the price, battery life and of course which GPs will suit your Golf Game. It also helps to be familiar with the technologies such as laser rangefinders and GPS.

I did not realize the energy and convenience of making use of a GPS for car device till I went to Tasmania last December for my son’s convocation. We took the chance to drive around the vast expanse from the island. I told my wife an up to date map, very good intuition plus a sense of direction were sufficient. My son thought otherwise and has actually bought a Garmin GPS from an online retailer before we arrive. Is there a specific law about it? Can you get pulled over? How is it punishable by law?

Im trying to purchase a GPS for my car (which i should have bought with the sat nav option – stupid me!!! – anyway). I have been on CNET’s review page and read all about them and such. What is the best GPS for the money. Im looking for something in the $ 200 – $ 350 range with Bluetooth and traffic. It would be mostly used for CITY driving. I am hoping for some actual testimonials, as to how reliable some GPS manufacturers are and if you would buy again. Like TomTom, Garmin, Navman, Magellan, Mio? Does a large screen prove helpful? Map support? Customer support? That kind of stuff. Please dont provide links to CNET or something like that, I know where to find specs about an item. I want to know which model and make are the most reliable.

I’m on shopping for a cheap and good GPS device. After some research, I found that both Mio C230 and Garmin Nuvi 200 have many good reviews and affordable for my pocket, but don’t know which one I should buy. Please help me to pick. Or if you know any better GPS device that have about those’s price, please recommend me.
P.S.: Someone says that Mio C230 can be hacked to have many features and new updated maps. Can I also update new maps for the Garmin without any charge? Thank you
